Turn your experience into an achievement-led resume

Show the difference you made, not simply the responsibilities you were assigned.

Start with the target role

Read several relevant job descriptions and identify the capabilities they repeatedly request. Select examples from your own experience that demonstrate those capabilities. A focused resume is usually stronger than a list of everything you have ever done.

Describe action and evidence

For each example, explain the problem, what you did and what changed. Use numbers only when you can support them. If you do not have a revenue figure, evidence may include reduced turnaround time, improved quality or the successful delivery of a complex project.

Keep the story consistent

Your resume, LinkedIn profile and interview answers should reinforce the same strengths. Avoid exaggerated claims and prepare to explain how each result was achieved. Clear, credible evidence helps employers understand the value you can bring.
